Wow, the last few weeks have been immense. I started my first placement in the community two weeks ago and I have learnt so much already. Doing a 37.5 hour working week, plus studying on top of that, is hard going but very rewarding. I'm going to be so upset when I come to the end of my first placement in 2 weeks as I have loved every minute of it. My mentor has been brilliant and very encouraging, I hope I get to work with her again in the future.
There really are highs and lows and these last two weeks have been such a learning curve. I definitely know I have chosen the right career and can't wait to experience more over the next 3 years.
